Our practice offers surgical correction of enlarged or prominent ears and birth defects of the ear. These problems are quite common and have a very distorting psychological affect. While female patients are able to style their hair to hide the prominent ears, male patients find it more difficult. To correct these conditions, incisions are usually hidden behind the ears or in the crease of the ears where they blend into the skin folds. These procedures are performed in an outpatient setting and do not require an overnight stay.

The repair of torn earlobes can be performed under local anesthesia as an in-office procedure requiring very little recovery time.
